Young children in Zambia are often left to fend for themselves, spend most of their time helping with household chores or caring for siblings at an early age. There are usually no opportunities for play or early learning available to them. We want to positively influence even the youngest in Waya and prepare them for school in a loving environment. That's why we aim to establish a kindergarten that provides a child-friendly oasis for play and learning right in the heart of the impoverished neighborhood.

After building a new classroom in 2022 for the growing number of students, we are planning to construct office and administration spaces in 2024. This will include creating room for social workers and a pastoral care room.
